Part 2. Regional List

This list is based on records of wetland delineations submitted to this office over roughly the past two years (since January 1994). When many people ask for information about consultants to do wetland delineations for them, they often want to know who works in their particular area of the state. As a result, this list has been revised to reflect that type of information. Some consultants specialize in a particular region, and others work statewide. The fact that a particular consultant is not listed for a given region does not mean they are not available to work in that area - it is certain that most, if not all, are available for work anywhere in the state. This simply reflects what our records show for submittals in the recent past. Some have indicated that they have recently worked on projects in other regions within South Carolina besides those for which they are listed, but these delineations were not submitted to this office for verification. As a result, these projects are not part of the database which was used to generate this list. Be aware that this should not be considered an endorsement of any listed consultant. This office is willing to work with any and all qualified environmental consultants in efforts to delineate wetland areas.

ADDENDUM - June 2, 1998
Since the publication of this list, a number of consulting firms have expressed an interest in being placed on this list. This list has not been completely revised in the year and a half since its publication because it has been anticipated that a National Wetland Delineator Certification Program would be put into effect. That has not yet come to pass, and rather than totally revise the list which requires a substantial investment of time, this addendum page has been added.
As stated at the beginning of this list:
